Floating solid cherry hardwood frame 24x36.

We have several framing options that do not make use of a glass cover. Solid hardwood frames are described below and less expensive but high quality Metal frames are also available. You can also order a flat mount print and purchase a frame elsewhere.
For this the print is first dry-mounted to black foam board as with our other mounting options, then it is suspended to the front opening of the custom-made frame. From the figure you can see that the edge of the print is separated by a small distance from the frame, hence the term "floating frame". Our frames are hand-crafted from air-dried solid hardwood: black walnut, oak, or cherry. The frames are 1 inch wide by 1.5 inches deep and are sealed with Danish oil with a stain if you wish or natural.
